The 2024-2025 NFL Post-Season Playoff Fantasy Extravaganza!

Hello all!

I'm putting together an NFL postseason fantasy betting pool - it's a bonus fantasy season that takes half the time and effort of the real thing! If you know anyone else who might be interested, please forward the info! The more the merrier, and the bigger the winnings.

The deal:

Entry fee is $10. Payment via Venmo please (@sarahenni) ! Payouts will depend on the number of entries. I'll let everyone know the structure once I get all the entries.

Entries due 1/11. Entry form must be submitted via EMAIL by the first game on Saturday January 11 (1:30 PT / 4:30 ET).

Pick em: An entry consists of a roster of 9 players: 

1 Quarterback

2 Running Backs

3 Wide Receivers

1 TE

1 Kicker 

1 Team Defense/Special Teams* 

*Defense/ST is a TEAM, not individual player... i.e. the Dallas Cowboys Defense/ST

1 Per Team: No two players on a roster can be from the same team (i.e. you could not have both Josh Allen and James Cook on your team since they both play for the Bills).

You pick once and watch em go. Points will be scored for each game of the playoffs and summed together. After the Super Bowl, the team with the most TOTAL points will win! (NOTE: some teams will play more games than others, so players from those teams will likely score more points. This should be considered in your selections.)

Scoring:

ALL PLAYERS:

1 point for every 25 yards passing

1 point for every 10 yards running

1 point for every 10 yards receiving

1 point for each reception

6 points for each touchdown passing, running, receiving, recovering or returning (basically, if someone scores a TD, you get 6 points)

2 points for each 2-point conversion passing, running or receiving.

-2 points for each interception or fumble lost

KICKERS:

1 point for each extra point kicked

3 points for each field goal made, 39 yards and under

4 points for each field goal made between 40 and 49 yards

5 points for each field goal made 50 yards and longer

TEAM DEFENSE/ST:

1 point for each sack

1 point for every 25 punt/kickoff return yards

2 points for each turnover forced

4 points for each safety scored

6 points for each TD scored returning a kick, punt, interception or fumble

20 points for a shutout (opposing team scores 0 points)

15 points if opposing team scores 2-6 points

10 points if opposing team scores 7-13 points

5 points if opposing team scores 14-20 points

0 points if opposing team scores 21-27 points

-3 if opposing team scores 28-34 points

-6 if opposing team scores 35-41 points

-10 if opposing team scores 42 or more points

No math. Don't worry, I'll be taking care of all the scoring in a spreadsheet and will be sending out updates weekly. 

Ties? Finally, if by chance there is more than one team with the same roster, the tie-breaker will be total points scored in the Super Bowl, which will be submitted after those two teams are decided.
